Some sites like MusicNews.com have suggested that Arcade Fire and TV on the Radio will be the headliners at the High Line Festival, but I think it still leans further toward a rumor than a fact. The two are clearly David Bowie favorites so it’s reasonable to assume that he’d include them at the top of the list of performers to nab. But with Bowienet and the HighLine Festival website as tight-lipped as ever, the closest thing to confirmation from a horse’s mouth are three dates Arcade Fire has reserved for performances in New York City in early May. But where in New York is still a secret. TVOTR doesn’t even have any tour dates announced beyond April, so anything is possible there.
