On July 14, Virgin/EMI will release the David Bowie: VH1 Storytellers episode on CD/DVD. As with any interview with Bowie, he gives a lively recounting of important points of his life and a super performance of new and classic favorites. This is one that the Webmaster and I will definitely add to our collection. In fact, I’ll probably visit my local independent music store a few days before and ask them to put one on order for us if they’re not planning to stock it. And if they’re not planning to stock it, then I will convince them to do so.

What would we do without institutions like Amazon? I saw “Word On A Wing” from this video recently…quite heartfelt. I’m lookng forward to it.
Between Amazon and Netflix, a person can find just about any movie they want.
Although it took some time to track down a DVD of “Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence,” which I saw at an Oshima festival and discovered I loved. There’s at least four top-notch acting performances in it. It only seems to be available in PAL these days, so one can watch it while hunched over at the computer. “The Hunger II” is likewise. I can’t watch “Labyrinth.” I tried – just can’t.
