    The first photos to be released from the film set of “The Prestige” starring David Bowie, Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman and Scarlett Johansson were posted yesterday on a blog called Just Jared. They include shots of Jackman and Bale but none of Bowie electrifying the screen as Nikola Tesla just yet.

    A blurb in today’s Jamaica Observer noted that David shacked up in a private villa on the island recently. No word if he, Iman and Lexi were there for a Caribbean Christmas, but if I had the money to burn, I’d take my White Christmas in the form of sun-bleached beaches, too.
